need some honest help
Me and my husband are wanting to buy a house. Unfortunately our credit is terrible. Mine low 500's his mid 500's. We had bankrupcty dismissed in 2009. Since then we pay cash for everything. My husband wouldnt let us finance anything. Which is bad bad bad for your credit. Now we have no revolving credit and lots of medical collections. I am not sure what to do. I did last week open a secured credit card. I thought about calling the credit report companys and paying off the collections. But i was told that that wouldnt really help. What else can we do. I know there isnt a quick fix but i need it as quick as possible. We have 40% to put down on a house but know one will look at us because of our credit.
