My score is 737. I would like to buy/rent a home, but I don't have a lot of money. Can I do this?

While that is a great score, showing good money management skills,. you will have to show sufficient income to meet the rent, and utilities, and renter's insurance in addition to the other expenses of living.  If that is a problem, see about 'income-based housing.'  Buying a house with low income is not a likely prospect .
