Its always best to confirm with the company prior to doing that, because they aren't all the same.  But Chase is one of those that does report to the bureaus on an Authorized User...if its a spouse or immediate relative (child).

So your husband's data will be reported on you.  And it will include the age of that account.  So you will get the benefit of that age and that credit limit...but you'll also be hit for utilization if he's carrying a high balance.  Double edged sword.
