Hello sstrick63!

Thanks for posting.

It sounds like you may be one of the very first users to experience our newly redesigned site, which uses a new credit formula: VantageScore 3.0. I understand the change was probably quite surprising! Since we changed score models, it's possible that nothing changed on your credit report (you'll want to review your full report just to be sure). You can still find your full TransUnion credit report on Credit Karma - always free, and updates are available once per week.

We chose to switch to the VantageScore for a number of reasons. It is a model created jointly by the three major credit reporting companies— the same model can be applied to any of the major three bureaus’ credit reports.  Providing that the credit report data is the same amongst the credit reporting companies, the score will also be the same. We think this consistency will be valuable to our members.

Stay tuned, because this is the first of several changes coming soon, and we think you’ll be pretty excited about what’s to come. As always, we highly value your feedback, so please do send any thoughts to support@creditkarma.com
