Did you pay off a bill?

Yes, something that seems like it should help can work that way.  Paying off a debt which seems like it should be a positive thing can drop your score. There are countless other reason as well.

The reality is that your scores fluctuate all the time.  EVERY DAY. Every time you pay a bill or use a credit card.   Be less concerned about the actual number and more concerned about the bracket that your score lands in. Thats what lenders look at.  That 23 point flucuation in you score makes no difference.  Your score is already in the upper brackets so you are already getting the benifits from that score.

Hope that helps.
