Missed payments while on military deployment
While I was on a deployment to Afghanistan I had a credit card that was forgotten about by my family, who was in charge of handling my bills while I was away. The card was over 60 days behind and went to a collection agency. I paid the balance as soon I heard from the agency, but it still shows on my credit report is negative. It is the only bad part on my credit report. Is there anything I can do to try and get rid of it, I know there are certain rules about service and deployments, but I don't know where to start.
