Medical bill going to collections
I heard there are new laws out to protect consumers from getting bad credit score due to insurance red tape ext. Anyone have any clue on how this works?

Also, what is the best way to get one of these off of your report?

Medical bill going to collections

The new law doesn't preent the medical bill from going on your credit report.  It allows you 180 days before the CRBs report it.  Once the debt has been paid it is removed from your credit report.

Best way to get it off your report is to pay it.
