Just an observation - not a question
Isn't it funny how charges show up on your credit factors in days or a couple of weeks, but lower balances sometimes take months to to show up. It kind of keeps you trapped with a lower score than you should have, especially if you are working on getting your credit usage to a lower percentage.

There could be blind spot in your obsession, as credit card companies generally only report your activities once a month, so any changes to your balance is been reported at same time. It's not like they go out of their way to report a week after you making a purchase but purposely wait for 6 weeks to report when you make a payment.
