Joint/cosigned loaned, will it hurt to have them close the account
cosigned a credit card for my son, he has paid it off will it hurt my score if he closes the account

It will a bit, but not as much as it could have hurt if he had defaulted on the card and you got stuck with the payments.

However, I recommend you advise son to not close that card until after he gets one for himself without you a co-signor.  He'll be glad he did because he likely would need a co-signor for the next one and you shouldn't be that one.  Co-signing is too risky becxause it means the original borrower does not sufficient positive credit history to be trusted with a credit card on their own.
