I've been taken off a parent's credit card but it does not show up on my credit report as "closed."
Is this correct? Should it show up as "closed"?

Or will it continue to show as active because even though I am no longer a user on the card, the card is still active?

If you were removed recently, it will take 30-90 days for the change to show up on your credit report.  If it's already been that long, then you need to dispute the account with all three bureaus at www.annualcreditreport.com.
