If you currently have no credit or thin credit, then it could be a problem getting an auto loan. You may have to look for a dealership that advertises to finance people with "Bad Credit or No Credit" or a "100% financing slogan" or a "Buy Here, Pay Here" be prepared to have a good down payment and expect high rates. If it is possible for you to wait on the auto loan, you could spend some time building credit first with Secured credit cards or whatever you can get approved for. There is a lot of info on this site and across the internet on ways to build credit. Any questions along the way, feel free to ask.
