Is it better to leave an old credit card open and not use it, or close it completely?
I opened a credit card in college and do not use it ever (nor do I want to use it). Should I call the bank and close it, or leave it open and continue not using it?

Why not use it?

Your credit report will benefit from an account that has a longer history as long as it is paid on time. The best thing to do is to use that account sparingly, like $20 a month and pay it off completely to show a nice long, on time payment history.
