It depends on how many other loans that you have reporting. If this is your only loan or if you only have two loans, then you would want to pay this loan down but not off for the greatest benefit to your credit. In most cases, paying off and closing a loan will hurt your credit.

Depends on whether or not you enjoy paying interest.  Personally, I prefer paying accounts off as quickly as possible to avoid having to pay much interest.
