is it bad to use more then 30% of your credit limit
been reading that using more then 30% of your credit limit is a bad idea. Is it true? What if you do use more then 30% but not 100% of your limit and you pay the bill in full. Still a bad idea?

credit limits

Why do they say only use 30%? does your score go down terribly? like if your score was 700 would you go down to like 500?  Terrible rule to follow when you only get a $300 limit. so let's say i spend $250 AND pay it all of next month, i'm still hurting my score terribly?  this is one credit card rule i don't understand.
