The recommendations of credit cards advertised on this site do NOT come from the site but from the advertisers.  Credit Karma is free to you and me but it DOES cost money to set up and maintain an Internet site.  That money comes from the companies that advertise here and they would naturally expect to recoup the costs when they get more credit card customers.

My recommendation?? First, learn about credit from this site (read the articles you will find under RESOURCES) and work on making yours better. Credit Karma's purpose is to teach people about credit, and I learned a lot! Check out the reviews on the credit cards you might be interested in and don't accept just any offer, pre-approved or not.  Use common sense coupled with credit knowledge and you'll be far better off.
