Inaccurate Credit Card Totals & number of cards
My report shows two Amex cards with amounts of about $2170 and $3100 for a total of about $5270. This is the same card and the balance should be the $2170 figure. The $3100 is from the prior month. Why are two cards being reported, and two balances being added?

It is really just one credit account showing 2 differenet balances - If you have linked the account on Credit Karma, you'll see both balances (the one in real-time and the one that the credit bureau has on file). If you're ever in doubt, you can go get a detailed credit report and check it for accuracy at www.annualcreditreport.com for free once a year, and file a dispute if you find any error.
