If you're added to someones credit card account do you get credit for the payment history?
I don't mean as an AU, I mean if they add you as a joint account. Do you get credit for the payment history or only from the time you're added to the account?

Yes, and it will be factored into your score as if it were you own credit card.  But lenders can see that you are only an authorized user if they actually review your credit report.
