If I take bankruptcy will my husband have to as well?
I am in debt but I cant see another way to get out from under the mess of my bad credit but bankruptcy but my husband prior to marriage to me took bankruptcy himself so can I take it without involving him?

depends on the state you live in.

If you are in a Community Property State. and/or if you file your taxes as married filing jointly. then  bankruptcy would involve both of you. if not in a CPS then you might be able to file Bankruptcy seperately.

I'd check with an attorney.
