On your payment history, were any payments late, all sorts of different factors.  And, all credit information MUST be reported for 7 years from the date of last activity (payment) as required under the FCRA which is a federal regulation.

I hope you regularly check your credit reports every year to make sure only the correct information is on them.  Use the credit tools on this site (there's one on home affordability you might want to check out) so you can see where you stand.  It's good to know ahead of time so you can make needed corrections.
