If I consolidate my credit card debt to one card-what happens to the cards that I consolidated?

Unless you close them (which I do NOT recommend), they'll just be hanging out with zero balances but good history and available credit, all of which are good things for your credit score.  Just don't run up new balances on your old cards once you've consolidated,  or you'll just dig yourself a bigger hole.  Do use the old cards once or twice a year to keep them alive; a tank of gas, bag of groceries, dinner, whatever.  Just pay it off right away and you'll keep that good credit on your reports.  Best of luck!
