If you are removed as an autorized user on an account, you will loose all benefits and negatives assocated with the card.   It will lower your Credit Line.   If this is a card with a decent limit and low balance, it would hurt you.   If the card is at 30% or greater, you would benefit depending on the utilization of your other cards you carry.   Your average age of accounts would change, the affect is dependant upon the agent of that account compared to your other cards.   You can use the Credit Score simulator here on CK to check the affect of reflecting it paid off and closed.
