Don't!!

The card has been around for a while?  That improves the "Age of Accounts" in your credit score.  And the credit limit on that card is part of your total credit limit, which should be as high as you can get it.  You don't have to use it all but it is better to show you have a large amount of credit you "could" use, but you don't use more than a small fraction of it at the most. And the number of accounts you have is another factor in your score.

Just keep the old card in a safe place and possibly use it occasionally to keep it an active part of your credit score.
