Depends...

if you have a Chapter 13 bankruptcy and it gets dismissed, creditors will start coming after you again, and start filing derogatory remarks on your credit report (if you don't pay them) until the statute of limitations pass for your state. Alternately, check with your lawyer and have him/her get you back on the plan if this is the case. Oh, and it will remain on your credit report as a bankruptcy.

For Chapter 7, I'm not sure, but I do know the bankruptcy itself will remain on your credit report for 10 years regardless.
