As long as the bankruptcy is on your reports it will have a negative impact, but the damage subsides as time goes by. Do you have open accounts in good standing that are being reported to the credit bureaus? Have you read extensively on how to rebuild credit after bankruptcy? Are you checking your FICO scores from time to time or just the scores here? Ask yourself these questions as it may be helpful to you.
