Are you sure they are YOURS?

There are often errors on credit reports, especially on those of people who do not regularly check their reports to make sure all information is correct.  If you are not hearing directly from this collector, it is likely an erroneous entry.

Since Credit Karma gets its information from Transunion, that would be the first credit report to look at, but I suggest checking all 3.  Go to annualcreditreport.com and get all 3 reports.  Go over them quite thoroughly and file disputes on each and every erroneous entry (something you absolutely know or suspect is not yours, not something you just don't like). with the credit bureau reporting it.  They have to investigate and either verify or delete the entry.

Make it a practice to check your credit report on a yearly basis so your credit score will be based on true information.

Hope this helps.
