I tried to buy a car when I was 18 ( 2 years ago) and I have A LOT of inquiries.
How does that affect me now?

If nothing since then, and the inquires were all within a short period of time (30 days?), probably little.

Hard inquiries only remain on your reports for two years, so they should be due to fall off. Be sure to designate time to read everything that you can about credit. The information will help you the rest of your life.
