I took something of my credit report my score went down 7 points why is that?

Single digit changes are like a 'burp'.  No big thing.

Most likely AAoA decreased

I'm assuming it was some sort of account that had either negative payment history or was a collection.  In that case, if the negative payments were from more than 3 yrs ago, they weren't affecting your FICO score, but what was helping your score was the age of the account.  If it was contributing to your average age of account, and it was removed, then you average age decreased, thus impacting your score in a slightly negative way.  If the account was just an old collection and you had it removed, it could only help your score.
