I see a person can have several credit scores. Which score will be used for an auto loan?

Each creditor has a different way of calculating a credit scsore and there are hundreds of ways, as is explained in the articles here.  I advise taking the time to read them to understand how credit really works.  That is the purpose of Credit Karma.

Most will use a version of FICO scores, most often an "auto version". You can purchase scores along these lines from myfico, but what the lender actually uses may be a little different, but you can get a rough idea.
