I saw on the news. That you have a zero balance. it will taken off your account. Is it true.

Don't know who said that, but all credit accounts will remain on your credit report for up to 10 years, and this is under Federal law.  You shouldn't object to good reports, such as paid in full accounts and have no choice in the bad news, because that was your error.

Keeping the card with a zero balance will help your utilization and age of your credit history.  Just keep it active so they do not close it down on you..
