I REALLY Owe These Debts! Hospital Stays Zapped me.What Now?
I have never denied owing a debt. I actually pay my payments in advance.
Or DID...Then continually at the hospital with my hubby...
Several Surgeries and over 100 miles 1 way to travel there.
Extra gas, and had to buy a car, because my other was repoed, because I
was 1 payment behind.
Now I'm behind on EVERYTHING...except my 2 credit cards and my house.
The car payment has been late a few times, but got caught up the next month.
I have not had an income...since hubby's 1st surgery.
That leaves no money to pay with.
I'm an honest person and I work hard.
I don't lie about, or deny my debts.
My score was superb before all this, I actually got a $7500 unsecured loan.
and now...
My score is 574 and I could use a consolidation loan, but who would do that?
PLEASE, Help?

Re: Addison 170's response

Thank you for the info! I don't owe any medical. I can't go to a doctor! It's my hubby that
has PTSD and Agent Orange and Heart trouble and 3 pages of ailments.
I had a makeshift type business in sales...until I couldn't list any stuff.
I can't list when I can't ship and now I don't have a chance at that anyway.
My credit is my credit. Hubby's credit is his credit. He couldn't pay his debts when
he was in hospital for most part of the last 2 years either. The hospital is over 100
miles away and when he is in there, I have to be there too.
It seems we may be in the middle of a debt lock that just can't be fixed.
A lawyer told us that we need to consolidate all debts as 1 but no one will loan
us over $100,000 to do that. We were in the big tornado in Smithville,MS on 4-27-11
and it got our house with us in it. We have a new house now, but no one wants to use
it for collateral because its on a 5 year balloon note. I sure hope there is an angel that
can help us figure this one out. Thank you again for the info!!!

Just pay $5.00 a month to the medical bills, and they can't do anything to you (other than report delinquency to bureaus, which they are doing already).  But they can't sue you or anything like that as long as you show you are trying to pay.  Visit www.credit.about.com and read more about Paying Off Debts and see what scenarios work best for you.
