I own a home and want to choose a good insurance for my house but it's cheap. Any recommendation?

Also keep in mind your rates may be reduced by bundling services. If you have your auto(s), home, umbrella, life insurances etc through one company you might receive a discount.  Be sure to check their insurance rating by researching online.  Also look at your premium costs and deductibles.

One of my neighbors thought he was getting a great deal by paying extremely low monthly premiums. He didn't care or understand his deductibles were extremely high. When we had a hail storm, his home insurance company said he had a $10,000 deductible, and he also had a large deductible on his vehicle. $10,000 would be the cost of a new roof. Since he doesn't have that amount of cash in his bank accounts; his roof and vehicle have never been repaired.  Do your research.

Well, the recommendations varies from state to state.  I would suggest that they offer replacement cost of your home (current value of today's market) Also replacement of items inside the home up to a certain dollar amount. Also check to see what type of damages they will replace as a result of a claim.
