Payments do not reflect immediately, sometimes it may take a month for payments to reflect. Also keep in mind that Credit Karma only updates reports every so many days.

Your credit accounts are going to be reported for at least 7 years because they are part of your credit history.  The payments will be reported and will reflect favorably on your credit reports. If the payment history is excellent, the accounts may be reported for more than 7 years and that is good, because we want all the positives we can get!
