I have a tax lien that has been paid and is still on my credit report. how do i remove it
I have a letter informing of the release of the lien

If it is an IRS tax lien, go to the IRS website and download form 12277 and send it to the tax office you dealt with.  They'll send you back a Withdrawal form that you can send to the bureaus.  If it is a state tax, send the bureaus proof that is has been release and they may delete it, or you can contact the state and ask them how to get it removed.
