I have a secured CC, would lowering the limit hurt my score?
About a year ago i opened a Capital One secured CC with $2500.00 that helped me build up my score and obtain other CC's (non-secured) at this time; but with that amount of cash being held up and receiving other cards with the same if not higher limits i would like to lower the limit, if possible.

An increased credit score depends on how much credit you have available and how much you use.  Please read the articles (see left side of this page) to learn how to handle your credit wisely. That is what this site was designed for...an educational tool.  Please use it and discover for yourself what the outcome might be by utilizing the tools here, also.
