I have a rental debt but no judgement on my credit report.
I have a rental debt that was sent to collections. I do not have a civil judgement that was filed against me, or at least it is not showing on any of my credit reports. I am looking to rent again. Will it be noticed and considered an eviction? Can they legally hold me responsible for this debt if there was no civil judgement? Can I have it removed on the basis that there was no eviction?
