i have a couple debts payed off but still shows account open when will it show closed
i payed off a couple debts it shows a 0 balance and shows that the account is still open. when will they show closed? and will my score go up after its closed? please help im trying to by a house and im waiting for all these things to show off my report and raise my score.

It usually takes 2-3 months for it to show up here.  You can pull your full credit report from www.annualcreditreport.com and see if it is changed on one of the other bureaus.  If you are interested in getting a mortgage without using your credit score, visit www.naca.com.  It is a non-profit organization that helps low to middle income folks get homes.  4% interest, no down payment and no closing costs.  Check it out!
