i have a company calling saying i got a payday loan and now i owe them 1200.00
I have a company saying they are on behalf of riverside financial. they said I got a pay day loan and never paid it for anywhere between 300 and 400 dollars. this company secure capital saying if I do not pay 1200.00 then I am going to be served papers to go to court in front of a judge. they will not tell me any other information. telling me I have to research this myself. they are saying if I do not pay this now then going to court will cost me almost 6000.00 do you know anything about this company? the phone number that comes up is 972-351-8984.

You should file a complaint with the FTC (www.ftc.gov) and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (www.consumerfinance.gov).  They are obviously scammers and are violating many laws.  If they call again, demand that they mail you proof of the debt and tell them you've reported them to FTC and CFPB.
