i have 2 cards both through capitol 1
both cards have a 500.00 limit and are both close to being maxed out can i transfer the balances on to one card so i wont have to worry about paying 2 different interest rates?

Not unless you can get a credit line increase which is not likely if you are near the max. Pay the minimum amount on the card with the lower interest rate and pay as much as you can on the card with the higher internest rate. Maxing out credit cards will crush your credit score.  That keeps lenders from increasing your credit line or approving new credit lines somewhere else.
