Quite odd not having a SSN nowadays….. .

Unless you are undocumented and never paid taxes, which by the way many undocumented people pay taxes using a TAX ID number provided by IRS, you won’ t have a credit report at all. Unfortunately in the financial world, you are non-existent person to financial institutions. The whole point of a credit report is to see if you are a good paying customer for business. They want to see if you are worth the risk to borrow money and the odds of you paying back.

If you don’t have store cards or credit cards in your name and SSN you won’t even have a credit report.  If you have credit cards as secondary user, under your husband/wife/siblings….. those  card ares usually under their SSN. That said, you won’t’ have a credit report unless you have a SSN in the credit card company  file for them to report.
