No, a mobile number is not required. You can use a landline number as well. The phone number is used for identity verification only, and is not stored. Hope that helps!

I again tried to log into your new tax site. Again a road block. I DO NOT HAVE A CELL PHONE THAT HAS TEXT....WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO CONTINUE UNTILL I PUT IN THE CODE SENT TO MY TEXT (THAT I DO NOT HAVE) I CAN GO TO OTHER SITES AND DO MY TAXES. WHY ALL THE HOOKS TO JUMP THROUGH?
