What did you think co-sign meant? Yes you co-signed on a loan and if the other party doesn't pay, YOU are fully responsible for payments.  Whenever you co-sign on any document; it means you are willing to accept the burden.  You need to start reading about credit on this site and others online. 

This also means if the parties pay late; all of that will show on your credit report also.
