How to remove accounts off of credit report
I filed bankruptcy some of my accounts are still showing open but everything was discharged through bankruptcy how do i get these accounts closed so they won't affect my credit score. I no longer use these accounts.

Pull a credit report directly from each bureau and then dispute the open negative accounts that were part of the bankruptcy. Directions on how to dispute is listed on each bureau's website. You may have to provide them a copy of your bankruptcy papers for evidence.

If it has been less than ten years, those accounts may be showing up.  Usually, they vanish after 7 years because that is the general time frame for reported credit history.
