How to pay off a credit card with high interest rate?
I have a credit card with a 25% interest rate with a $2k balance. What is the best way to get this paid off in a timely manor to avoid the crazy interest and stop using the card?

Best way is to find another card that offers a 0% balance transfer for a few months. Then you can pay the balance down faster... Other than that you can call you cc company and ask if they will lower the interest rate for you...... Good luck my friend.

Visit www.credit.about.com and click on tab "Pay Off Debt", lots of great info.  First off, put away the credit card and stop using it or you'll never get ahead.  Best of luck!
