Public Records

Both Tax liens and Bankruptcies are public records and as such are typically filed in the country court in which you reside.  Many major markets (like Houston) have the records assesible online.  Else, you will need to inquire via phone / and mail.

If you are working on the removal of said information, let me know as we can assist you futher with that.  Tax liens can remain indefinitely and BK's for 7-10 years depending on the type.
