How soon after filing bankruptcy can you qualify for a mortgage to buy a house?
I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy 3 years ago and have built credit back up to low 700s.

for chapter 7's they typically season time from the time of discharge, not filing. the requirements vary from 2-4 years. if you have good credit, and a reasonable explanation for the BK, i'd proceed. (govt loan are typically easier on BK seasoning than conventional).
