how often should i make payments on a retail credit card?
i just got approved for my first credit card at a retail store. i want to stay on top of it so my question is does it look good or bad if i make a payment every two weeks when i get paid to pay off the balance sooner verses paying the minumum payment each month? i have an outstanding amount of $256. and dont want to drag the payment out longer than need be. i was looking at paying $75 every two weeks. or should i just pay $75 once a month?

Many retail cards charge high interest, so you'll want to check the rate on yours. By only paying the minimum, you could pay a lot more. You don't need to pay any interest to improve your credit score, so do what's best for your wallet.
