The answer is twofold. First, your credit score is updated each time anything is reported to the credit reporting agencies. So when you make loan, credit card, etc payments, once your next bill is generated that reflects the newest payment, within a couple of weeks that company will report the lower baalnce to the credit reporting agencies.

Secondly, if you are signed up for the basic CK site you can update your credit score on a daily basis; however it is rather pointless to do so as your credit will not change until a payment is reported. Under the new CK Beta account, they automatically update your score on a weekly basis.
