Depends on your income, current living expenses and your goal.  If you are planning for an emergency fund, strive to have at least what would be necessary to cover at least 6 months necessary living expenses.  That can be built up over time.  Only you will be able to make that decision since we are not permitted to see your financial information here.

You should strive to save at least 6months -1year of living expenses.  If not then 10-15% of your monthly income.
