how much might a mortgage approval raise my credit score?
my understanding is that if you are approved for a mortgage that it actually raises your score, if that is true how much might it increase it by?

it depends on the rest of your credit file....ie: credit lines...payment history all of that without more infor I can only give you the minimum guareentee which is 30 points but some go as high as 70 or 80 points if they don't have a lot of other things in there credit file down side is if they miss a mortgage payment they lose way than a person with a heavy file
