Well Hard Inquires stay on your report for 24 months and then they drop off. So that is the longest time they will affect your credit score.  Some folks have stated that Hard Inquires have less affect on your credit score after 12 months.  Any lender that pulls your credit report will see that hard inquires while they are on your report and if the 12 months might be true on the credit score they still might affect their decision on lending credit to you.

Hope that helps.

Credit History takes time so does your Credit Score.
